Although the Nile River has earned a reputation as the cradle of humanity, it is certainly one of those places that you should avoid. Well, it is because the Nile River has a lot of crocodiles that can easily kill you. There are actually about 100 crocodile attacks per year in the Nile River (most of the attacks are deadly). Movies depict sharks as a really dangerous predator in the waters (there are 70 to 100 shark attacks worldwide every year and about 5 to 15 deaths a year). There is a big difference between crocodile attacks and shark attacks. So, just avoid taking a dip in the River Nile.
