Marinate Meats With Vinegar

Vinegar makes a great addition to just about any marinade. The acidity helps break down tough muscle tissue in the same way that buttermilk does. However, vinegar can also be used for meat that's not chicken. Just add a tablespoon of vinegar to the marinade of your choice, and the acid will do the rest. You should notice the meat being a bit more tender than it usually is after it's done cooking.
