Make A Garland Out Of Old Cloth

Need a garland but don't have any paper or crafting materials at the house? Instead, try and make one out of old cloth. Take some fabric and start cutting it as if you were cutting it into strips. However, don't cut it all the way through. After you cut your strips, fold the top portion where you stopped cutting and wrap it with some string or twine. You could also just tie it together using the fabric itself.

Next, simply run your string through all of your pieces, and you have a cool fringed garland you can hang up for your celebration. Just make sure to use complimentary colors.
