If you have space in your yard, a compost pile is a great way to help the planet. Instead of food scraps going into landfill, you can utilize them by waiting for the food to decompose and then using the mixture in your garden to aid the growth of plants. So, if you want to help nature along, pour some Coca-cola on top of your compost heap. The acid will help break down the scraps quicker. Of course, the amount of Coke needed will depend on your pile.
