From Simple Cabinet to Chic Masterpiece

It's easy to get lost in the humdrum simplicity of items available at Ikea. Their options are classics but certainly not among the most unique. However, there is always the chance to upcycle the simple pieces into something new. This person took a plain old cabinet from Ikea (Ivar Cupboard), carved out some sections in the front, and added in some decorative mesh to make for a look that combines farmhouse and chic.

Although this piece definitely took a lot of time and effort, you can see that it was worth it by the beautiful end results. The piece looks professional and unique.
