A Gem Made Out of an Old Beer Bottle

You would be forgiven for mistaking the gemstone pictured here as an example of expensive topaz. However, this talented artist actually crafted this masterpiece out of a shard of glass from an old beer bottle. This is another instance of recycling at its finest; it's such a clever idea. Just look at the shape of the gem, and how it catches the light, it really looks like a precious stone!
