A WWII Plane

During WWII, countless planes went down. And while the large majority of them were found and disposed of in the proper fashion, that wasn't the case for all of them. In fact, in 1972, a group of explorers stumbled across a Boeing B-17E bomber sitting in the swamps of Papua New Guinea. Nobody had known it was there, and its condition came as a big surprise. After all, there was still coffee in the Thermos flasks.

It was later discovered that the pilot and the men onboard the plane had been able to land the plane safely and make their way out of the jungle uninjured, but the 'Swamp Ghost' plane was left untouched for over three decades.
