An Abandoned Movie Set

Over the years, countless movies have been filmed in deserts across the world. But what you might not realize is that much of the famousStar Warsfranchise was filmed in the Tunisian desert. But instead of using fake props or CGI, George Lucas and his team built hefty structures to bring these alien landscapes to life. And when filming came to an end, they decided to leave these things behind for them to become one with the desert.

Now, many desert explorers go in search of this abandoned movie set and try to find the familiar structures they're used to seeing on the big screen. After all, there was so much left behind!
