Wichita, Kansas

The city of Wichita in Kansas is a city of two halves. On the one hand, you have a thriving city that brings a huge amount of money to the economy, especially within the aeronautical space. On the other hand, however, you have a city that's teeming with crime. In fact, census data shows that it's one of the worst cities in America for its crime rate. So much so that the U.S. Department of Justice has had to get involved.

They've put the Wichita Police Department on their radar, offering them a three-year program that gives the officers extra training and assistance to tackle the crime rates in their city.
