Did you know that Lansing is actually the capital of the state of Michigan? Because of this, so many people choose to add this city to their bucket list - especially if they're from Michigan and proud of their roots. But while this honor is something that the city should be proud of, it's fair to say that the city has struggled over the years. In fact, it has a high crime, unemployment, and poverty rate.
