Jacksonville, Florida

Dubbed the Sunshine State, Florida is a popular state for tourists, retirees, and sun worshippers alike. But it seems as though those honors should just be reserved for the likes of Orlando and Miami - and the U.S. census data suggests that Jacksonville should be left to the side. That's because the city has been criticized for its lack of greenery and its general lack of open space for residents to enjoy.

What makes it worse is the fact that the city spends just shy of $33 on parks every single year because they have so few. And that's enough to make anyone miserable.
