Port Arthur, Texas

Texas is a huge state, but what you might not realize is that Texas is actually home to over 1,000 cities! One of them is Port Arthur, which census data has sadly described as one of the worst places to live in America. This is all thanks to the location of the city, and the fact that it's been hit by so many different natural disasters over the past few decades.

In fact, it's been hit by three hurricanes since 2005, which has resulted in billions of dollars of damage that local authorities just can't afford to fix. However, they're certainly trying.
