Built in 1888, the Hotel Del Coronado still stands tall as one of the few Victorian-era beach resorts in America. Despite years of elegance and luxury, it couldn't escape the clutches of a chilling ghost story. Kate Morgan checked into the hotel alone in 1892 and, five days later, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head.
