Okay, imagine looking out the windows in your house in order to take in the view only for you to see this - a monstrous heap of snow bundled up against your house. Is this guy living in an underground snow bunker? Was his house swallowed hole by an avalanche? Nope. This is just your typical North Icelandic ground-floor view. It's incredible just how much it snows there. Really.
