Google Earth Goes Underground

Who knew Google Street View went underground? Of course, the van didn't drive through the Catacombs Of Paris; a skeleton crew of one or two brave employees would have walked the route carrying their equipment in a backpack. The catacombs hold the remains of over six million people and were created to eliminate the city's overflowing cemeteries. During World War II, the French Resistance fought Nazis from these hidden tunnels.
