Butter Melter for a Quick Lunch on the Go

A quick spot of toast for breakfast or sandwiches for lunch is ideal if you've brought your own food for your hotel stay. However, sometimes even if you've packed everything from jam to butter, a cold room can present a challenge. That's right – we're talking about unspreadable butter. But whether you've brought it from home or have one of those foil sachets, there's an easy solution to this one.

If you're bringing your own, wrap it in foil. Now, pop your small foil-wrapped block on the toaster before putting the bread in. When the toasting begins, the foil will stop the butter from running over the sides as it heats.
