A New Yorker Perspective

Those who live and work in New York seem to believe that the entire country begins and ends at their own borders. So it is no surprise to see that their version of the United States of America is not exactly factually accurate. Nevertheless, it is entertaining to see how they conceptualize their very own country. Hopefully, no one is offended that the New Yorkers basically erased half the states and created new ones.

We were unaware that Chicago was recently promoted to statehood and grew to encompass and erase several of its neighboring states. That intriguing observation is just the beginning of this goldmine.
