Use Vaseline to Catch Stray Paint During At-Home Manis

For those of us who don't want to shell out the cash for a real manicure, there's always a cheap bottle at the drugstore. It's not the easiest to apply. Sometimes, it seems like a child or a gorilla was the painter. For that reason, it might be worth your time to apply some vaseline around your nails. Paint them as usual, and then wash your hands. What does this accomplish?

The vaseline stops the polish from drying on your skin, and it should glide right off under the soap and water. No need to take 5 showers and wait for the excess to peel away. We know that was your old trick!
