10,000-Year-Old Engravings

Caves and deserts may seem lost and forgotten, but they're a great way for us to uncover secrets of the past. This was certainly the case when these engravings were found in the middle of the Sahara desert. Unfortunately, the discovery of these giraffe engravings also led to even more questions. Experts could tell that they were over 10,000 years old, but that's where the revelations came to an upbrupt end.

Not much else is known about these engravings, who engraved them, or why they were engraved at such a time. It does suggest the existence of giraffes 10,000 years ago, though.
