Japan's Deer Are Law-Abiding Citizens

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who knows a bit about Japan that the Japanese people are, as a general rule of thumb, quite orderly. This attitude extends to the rules of the road as well. For example, people who've visited the beautiful country say that people are much more mindful of crossing the street only when the traffic light shines green (as opposed to the rest of us crossing on red).
