The Bathroom Towel Can Double as a Privacy Aide

So we all know hotels can be noisy places. Late-night party-goers and crying kids are the enemies of a restful night's sleep. So, soundproofing is necessary if you want to escape the hum of hotel operations. Noise and sound often comes through the slit at the bottom of the door. You'll know what we mean if you turn the light off and can still see the glaring light from the hotel's corridor along with the hum of constant chatter and elevator noise.

An easy remedy is taking a towel and some bags and laying them over the gap at the bottom of the door. Then wedging them in with something heavy. Of course, you want to ensure the entire crack is filled to get the best light and soundproofing.
