Tennis Shoes or Sneakers?

Once again, we return to the fact that the English language has many words for the exact same thing. Here we deal with the debate of 'tennis shoes versus sneakers.' For the sake of simplicity, we are just going to ignore Chicago and Cincinnati because they are super weird and are speaking nonsense. Except for the states that say "gym shoes," this map really makes it look good for the tennis players out there. They're the original influencers.

While tennis shoes are for sure winning the war against those people who refer to their shoes as sneakers, the battle will go on. Maybe we should follow Hawaii's example.
