5. Whistler, Canada

As Canada’s most loved ski resort, Whistler welcomes more than two million visitors every year. The British Colombia ski resort hosted the Winter Olympics back in 2010, meaning the facilities were updated with plenty of investment pumped into the resort. The ski area, which makes up 8,000 acres is one of the biggest in the world, plus Whistler village is home to some pretty lively après-ski options. With that said, the quaint little village is great for families too. It ticks boxes for everyone of all ages.
